What we collect
If you submit an inquiry, we collect the name, email address, optional organization, inquiry type, message, consent acknowledgment, and any research or giving interest you provide. We store a submission reference and review status. These details are used to review and respond to your inquiry and manage institute administration.
What you should not send
Please do not submit medical records, patient identifiers, diagnoses relating to other people, genetic reports, financial account information, or confidential unpublished research. This website is not a clinical care portal and is not designed for the collection of protected health information.
Storage and access
Submitted inquiries are stored in the website’s hosted database. Access to the inquiry inbox and content administration requires administrative authentication. Hosting and infrastructure providers process data as needed to operate the service. Website staff must review the inbox; submission does not send a separate email notification.
Spam protection and technical data
Our application uses validation, an unseen bot field, timing checks, and rate limiting. Rate limiting stores short-lived hashed network identifiers rather than raw IP addresses in the application database. Hosting providers may separately process network information and security logs under their own policies.
Cookies, analytics, and browser storage
No third-party marketing trackers or advertising cookies are installed. No visitor analytics collection is active. Hosting access controls may use sign-in cookies. Administrators’ browsers use session storage for their administration access key until logout or the session ends; visitors’ inquiry messages are not saved to browser storage.
Retention and your choices
Inquiries remain in the administrative inbox until deleted by an authorized administrator. A formal organizational retention schedule is being developed. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact form; include your inquiry reference and the email address used, without additional sensitive information. Requests may require identity verification.
External resources and future changes
Links to scientific publications, government resources, and other external websites follow those sites’ privacy practices. Donation processing is not active. This policy will be updated before new payment services, analytics, or materially different data practices are introduced.
